MARIETTA TOM
VICE PRESIDENT, PORTFOLIO CONTROLLER

With extensive experience in accounting operations, project management, systems and best practice implementation, Marietta serves as a Vice President for Phase 3 Real Estate Partners,Inc. She is responsible for the property financial reporting related to the company’s platform and assets. She has over 20 years of accounting experience covering property management, fiduciary services, real estate development within the biotech, multifamily, retail, commercial, and hospitality industry.    

Marietta began her career in the real estate industry as Assistant Controller at BioMed Realty, one of the largest providers of real estate for the life science and technology industries, where she oversaw the day-to-day accounting operations, implementation of various system conversions, applications and the financial preparation for multiple entities. Prior to joining P3RE, Marietta served as National Property Controller for Lincoln Military Housing, a subsidiary of Lincoln Property Company, where she oversaw the financial reporting, account reconciliations, cash forecast and the daily accounting operations of over 36,000 military housing units across the country for the Department of Defense.   Prior to Lincoln Military Housing, Marietta served as Controller for Trigild, a real estate company specializing in fiduciary services, property management, and asset management.   

Marietta graduated from New York University Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management & Organizational Behavior.
